Meghan Markle has treated us to a series of sleek workwear looks over the summer, from the black Givenchy dress she wore to the United Nations in New York to the Celine blouse she wore to launch her new Spotify podcast, Archetypes.

Now, Meghan has delivered a lesson in autumnal color blocking, by opting for an all-red ensemble for an appearance at the One Young World Summit in Manchester on Monday night. Comprising a bow blouse and tailored trousers from Another Tomorrow, the outfit—which was finished off with a pair of matching Aquazzura pumps—came with strong eco-credentials, too. The New York-based brand uses sustainably-sourced materials, such as FSC-certified viscose, as well as ensuring living wages for workers across the supply chain.

The look was a perfect choice for Meghan in full business mode, with the Duchess telling the young audience: “We often hear people say: ‘The time is now,’ but I’m going to double down on that by saying your time is now. The important work can’t wait for tomorrow.”

It’s not the first time the Duchess has championed sustainable fashion, with brands like Stella McCartney, Gabriela Hearst and Veja featuring in her wardrobe in the past. Given that the environment is a strong focus for the Sussexes, expect to see more eco-friendly choices from Meghan in the weeks and months to come.
